About
My approach to marriage, couples, and individual counseling is eclectic. During over 40 years in private practice, it became clear to me that each person or couple I work with are unique. As a result, I do not believe in a “one size fits all” approach to therapy.
Instead, I have developed a multi-model approach and have a larger toolbox of education, training, and skills that allow me to more easily and flexibly is specifically focused on what you need, rather than me focusing on you having to adapt to just one model of treatment. I think you deserve that.
My clients have told me that this approach has helped them to feel that they are unique as individuals or as a couple and they appreciate that I have taken the time to work with them as opposed to working “on them”. They like that I am conversational and what many have said as, “down to earth”.

They report that I am approachable and even appreciate that I will share a personal vignette from my own life that relates to something they are dealing with during their sessions with me.
If any of this resonates with you, I invite you to contact me for a free 15-minute phone or Zoom consultation to see if I am a good fit for what you need.
