About

Hi, I’m Tom and I’m here to help curious people explore the roots of your suffering so that you can resolve these issues once and for all.
If unsatisfying, unhealthy, or toxic relationships are a theme in your life, talking about them with a skilled therapist is the best path forward. Breaking old habits is not impossible; you have the capacity to change.
You’ll learn to:
  • distinguish between healthy and unhealthy relationships.
  • spot narcissistic traits and other relationship red flags from a mile away.
  • forge newer, healthier relationships with people who appreciate you for who you are, not for what you can do for them.
  • recognize the warning signs of falling into old, unhelpful habits before it’s too late.
  • Implement firm, appropriate boundaries in all your relationships.
I am primarily grounded in modern psychoanalytic and psychodynamic theory, including attachment theory, which aims to understand the often hidden roots of our problems so that we can learn to move beyond these old, unhelpful patterns and develop newer ones that lead to lasting fulfillment. Individuals who are willing to take this journey ultimately discover that they are not as helpless and chained to the past as they thought, and that with some work, changing old habits and behaviors is well within their grasp.
